Time flies by so fast, I can’t believe we are ready to hold our 7th Annual Resource Fair. Last year we had over 600 visitors collecting information from over 60 senior service providers. This is an opportunity for you or anyone you know who is either looking for senior services for themselves or for a loved one.
This year, for the first time, NYU’s David Kriser Dental Center will be participating. They will be offering cancer screenings and pre-exam dental checkups. Other services that are available at the Fair are blood pressure screening and prescription medication review by Lenox Hill Hospital, along with aide in filling out health care proxies and other advance directives by the NY Legal Assistance Group. Additional information will be available on housing, healthcare and health insurance, long term care, technology for seniors, cultural events,caregiver support, food stamps, transportation and much more.
Senator Liz Krueger’s 7th Annual Resource Fair will take place on Thursday, October 17th, 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Temple EmanuEl, which is located at 65th Street and Fifth Avenue.
